Bringing in 2009!

I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Mine was pretty good. There ended up being like 13 people at my house, there were no leftovers. The next day Christopher's family arrived at like 3:30pm, they took a shuttle to the base, he had to go get them from one of the gates. They pulled up and I walked down stairs and you just hear "SARAH!!!" Cylar, his cousin, was pretty excited to see me, I was excited to see her too, her and I had gotten close before we moved here. The Grandma was pretty excited too, even though she had a broken toe and her foot was all swollen, poor thing. Well the all came up and looked at our house, they all said it was cute, which made me happy. They all liked my dog too, especially Carter, who is six, not seven! I asked him how old he was and that's what he said, "I am six, not seven!". He has a birthday coming up and doesn't want anyone to refer to him as seven yet, because it doesn't count. They couldn't get a room at the hotel on base, so they were just going to get some air mattresses and crash here. Well everyone was hungry so we decided to go get Chinease food, we had to take to trips to get there. Well everyone was just about finished with there food when we hear loud ass thunder, bright ass lightneen, pouring down rain, then all of a sudden, the lights go out. I thought it would have been the perfect time to dine and dash, but we didn't. We scrunched everyone into the car and headed home, everything was black, it was creepy. We get to my house and get all the candles we can find. We couldn't see anything. We tried to watch a movie on Christopher's laptop, then it died, so we all just went to bed. The power came back on at like 6am. So thank god it came back. That day his Aunt and Christopher went to the store to buy some food for them to cook, only half of the commissary was open because they had to inspect the meat and frozen food because of the blackout. They were there for a while, then they finally came back and his Aunt made tacos, and his Grandma made stuffed cabbage, both of wich, were BOMB. Then the sun started to come out so we headed for North Shore, which is the beach closest to my house. We took the dog with us, his Grandma stayed home, she wanted to take a nap, and she got an earlier flight to leave that night, so she needed to get her stuff together. North Shore was fun, they had a lot of cute shops and stuff, they had a market that has world famous shaved ice, it was pretty good, George Clooney's picture was up in there, so it must be good. Then we came home, Christopher, his Aunt, Cylar, and Cole(the oldes of the cousins), went to the PX. I stayed and me and Grandma watched the movie What Happens in Vegas, very funny movie. Then at about 9pm we took her to the Airport and came home and played a couple games of SceneIT, then I went to bed. Christopher and his cousin stayed up to play some Xbox, then I woke up the next morning to some bomb ass breakfast. We spent most of the day in Waikiki at the beach, it was fun, then we took them to the Airport at about 9pm. It was a short but sweet visit. Everyone had fun, which is good.

Tonight we are spending New Years Eve at Aloha Tower, they are going to have performers and fireworks at midnight and little shops open, it should be fun, I haven't been there before. I hope everyone has a good and safe new years : )

As soon as his Aunt sends me all the pictures, I will make a video or something for you all to see.

Holiday Plans <3

So today is Christmas Eve, Eve. The next few days should be fun, tomorrow for Christmas Eve, we are going to Danielle and Greg's for cookies, hot chocolate, and Egg Nogg. We are also going to watch Christmas movies. I am thinking A Christmas Story, Danielle has never seen it before. It is a classic. Then Christmas we are having friends over for a feast. I am making a ham, cheesy potatoes, cake, brownies, and more. My friends are bringing mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, chips, dip, beverages, and more. It should be fun. Then the next day Christopher's family will be joining us. YAY. It will be his Aunt, Grandma, and his 3 cousins, which I have met 2 of them. They are probably going to rent a car, and see about a hotel, and if they can get a cheap one, Ty( his aunt), his Grandma, and the youngest cousin Carter will stay in a room, while Cole and Cylar will stay here. Christopher said that will be cool because Cylar loves hanging out with me, and its the same with Cole and him. So it should be alright with that. Either way it will be fine, but we do only have ONE bathroom. And this may sound CRAZY for my family, but I can't stand clutter in my kitchen or my bathroom, SHOCKER I know... but I can't lol. I hope they have fun and the weather is nice though. : )
Maybe tomorrow I will get lucky and get my Mom's package.

All NightER

So yesterday, Christopher and I were feeling really sick during the day. We thought it was food poisoning and it would pass, later into the night it got bad, I was drooling blood out of my mouth and we both had really sharp pains in out belly. So Christopher called one of his NCO's and she took us to Tripler, which is the Army hospital. We got there at about 10:30pm and finally got to come home at 7:30am. They had me hooked up to an IV which hurt like hell, and a heart rate monitor, then told me to take a nap. Sorry I couldn't sleep with all that hooked up to me. So I layed there for HOURS. It sucked. We got home and I went right to bed and woke up at 4:30pm. I was exchausted. It felt weird though, like my day was wasted. We got a package from Alyssa today. It had some good stuff in it. She sent me a Twilight purse, twilight bracelets, a victoria secret purse, and some body spray from victoria secret. She sent Christopher some comic books, and some collective type of figure he likes to collect. So that was very nice, I tried to call and thank her, but she didn't answer. Right now I am just laying on the couch chillin and relaxing. I am feeling somewhat better for now, I have sharp pains in my tummy that come and go still, but they gave me some medicine for that to take. It makes me drousy though. So I am going to go lay down now. There is a picture of the Tripler hospital, why it is pink, I don't know.

Nice weekend : )

My weekend was pretty nice for the most part, even though it has been raining NON STOP. Friday the rain stopped during the day and Christopher had got off work early since he is about to go on his block leave. We decided we were finally going to go see twilight, let me tell you this movie came out on November 21st and I have been dying to see it since I heard it was turning into a movie back in May. Well we got dressed, got movie times, and right when we were about to leave HELLO MORE STORM. It was coming down in buckets and the thunder was so loud my dog would not come out from under the bed and the lightneen lit up the whole base seriously. We waited like 20 min and it let up some, enough to go to the PX and get something to eat and walk around and do some of our Christmas shopping. We get to the PX and the food court, gamestop, the ups store, and the barber shops were the only thing open, everything else FLOODED. I couldn't beleive the PX was flooded that's nuts. Well we ate at Charley's subs and looked in gamestop and came home. I was so bummed, being cooped up in a storm SUCKS! Well then it finally stopped at like 11pm and my friend Danielle and her husband Greg text me and Christopher telling us that they are going to Walmart before the storm starts again to finish their christmas shopping. They also have family that they need to get presents to before Christmas, so me and Christopher joined in on the late night shopping adventure. It was pretty easy to shop then, the only people really there were the stock boys, we got everyone's christmas presents finished and the next day I shipped them out. Saturday Christopher decided we would exchange gifts since he is deploying soon we want to have time to enjoy them and whatnot, I wasn't going to argue. He got me a SceneIT game for the Xbox, which is pretty fun. Its the movie edition, some questions are hard because there are old ass movies in there I had never seen before. He also got me some Monkey slippers, because I guess I have monkey feet. I had to help him pick those out though cause he didn't know where to order them from. He got some games and a used nintendo DS to take with him to Afghanistan. So we were both happy for cheap. Saturday night we went and saw Twilight FINALLY! It was amazing but the book was even better. So go read it. I don't read and I loved it. Today we just kind of hung out and watched movies, we got a christmas story on dvd and watched that, along with Elf. Both my favorite Christmas movies. Our friends were supposed to come over this evening and make fried chicken but the storm came back. I HATE THE RAIN!!!!!!!! It sucks. Tomorrow morning I have to take Christopher to the doctor cause he threw his back out somehow. It was a pretty good weekend except the storm. Bob won survivor but that Corrin chick's comment twards Sugar was really mean, Sugar was my favorite. It was good though, but I thought it usuallly came down to two people, not three WEIRD. I hope everyone else had a good weekend. Good Night....

OH YEAH MY SISTER GOT A JOB! WOOOOOOO!

Weather

The weather here sucks.
The whole base is shut down due to the heavy rain and wind.
Our street is flooded and the sound of the wind and the rain kept me awake most of the night. It sucks, everyone is off and nobody is allowed in or out of base.

Go here to keep up with our weather.

My Christmas tree

Hi every body it's me Christopher. <--- That's all he had to say.

Anyways this is our Christmas tree. It is only 3ftt and it is fake, but I think its nice. We each have a stocking even the puppy. It reminds me of my Mom's house and their tree. Every time I walk passed my tree I want to push that Nsync ornament I've had for years and make it play that song. Makes me sad. This weekend me and my friend Danielle are going to go finish our Christmas shopping.
Should be fun. I am thinking for Christmas I might cook a ham.

I hate the dentist

I have always hated the dentist, there is nothing good to say about going to see one. Even if you just go for a cleaning, all day your mouth tastes like flouride and rubber gloves. Well yesterday I went to the dentist and had one cavity filled and today I have to have a wisdom tooth pulled. I had to have the filling because I had lost one. Today will suck, not looking forward to it. I will be eating a lot of soup and be on some pain killers. Yesterday I got a card from Grandpa with some money in it, I need to call him and thank him. I tried to call a few minutes ago but nobody answered the house phone. I will try again this evening if my mouth doesn't hurt too bad. People let him know I am not an ass grandkid who doesn't call and thank him, I will. In a couple minutes I will be on my way to get a tooth pulled, at least Doctor Bell had playstations in the ceiling.

THANKSGIVING

My thanksgiving was really good. My turkey turned out really good, and all the other food was really good as well. Here are a few pictures. I hope my family is faving fun at Knott's today. I got a package in the mail this afternoon and I was really happy about it. I got some chex mix, and some cookies, some socks, a cool shirt, my mom picked up my jewelry box for me from Kiddie Kandids and send it to me, and even sent christopher some guitar hero chonies, he was excited about that. I got a note from everyone which was also nice. So thank you very much. I tried to call and say thanks but everyone was probably busy eating chicken. : )

This is a picture of our little family lol, I took a break from cooking. We were waiting for everyone to get to our house.

Christopher made this, it's kind of like the peanut butter, cheerios thing, only he melted a snickers bar in it, he called it monkey poop. Yeah, I don't know either... haha

This is a picture of my bomb stuffing.

This is Christopher carving my masterpiece.

I made these yams, Christopher liked them. So did Danielle's husband Greg, they were the only two who liked yams. More for them.

These are the greens that Danielle made, they were so bomb, I ate so much of them.

I made some cheddar biscuits red lobster style, they were pretty good.

This is Danielle & Gregg's son Elijah, he is so cute, he was trying to help me do the dishes.

This was our table of deliciousness.

By my sister's request....

I am going to talk about where I live, Hawaii. It is defenitly a vacation spot. It rains a lot here and there isn't as much to do. We don't have a lot of restaurants. I am so tired of Chili's. We don't have Applebees, no Marcelino's, no Red Lobster, no nothing really. See we live in Wahiawa on Schofield Barracks. The PX on base sucks and the commissary is worse then the Staters in apple valley times like a million, I hate it with a passion. The only store we really have is Wal Mart. We don't have any regular grocery stores, we just have Food Land. You don't want to shop at Food Land unless you want to pay about 6 bucks for a bag of chips. I do live about 30 minutes away from the Navy base in Pearl Harbor, and I love their NEX. It's my favorite place to shop, we bought our couch there. Their stuff is cheaper than the PX and the NEX is HUGE. I do live pretty close to the Dole Plantation and a beautiful beach North Shore. I have also met some pretty cool people by living here. So it's not all bad. I like my house for the most part, housing sucks though. I called them once to fix our drain in the shower because it was clogged and it took them forever to finally come, I had to call like 4 times, and he came and got all the hair out of the drain, and what does he do with it? He puts it in the toilet and leaves it. So I go in there to use my facilities and there in wads of hair in my thrown, so now it doesn't flush right. I was so mad. The coolest thing about living here has to be the people though, well most of them... we have made some pretty good friends being here. Christopher's friend that he met in basic and got stationed here as well is currently in Iraq, he emails us from time to time, I told him one day I would send him some cookies. Also my friend Stefanie's husband is in Iraq as well, she is coming over tonight to have dinner with us and she is bringing over Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 so we can watch it. I do have weird and annoying neighbors though. So here is a couple funny stories, there in one lady who lives in our circle that everyday at about 5:30-6pm she walks to the stop sign and just sits there, and everday she is wearing weird high heels and a different color wig, she's an odd one, I don't think she's harmful, just weird. I think he husband may be deployed, I don't know if that is the cause of her being weird, but she's an odd one. One day Christopher was putting together the Futon in the spare room and his tools and fallen and one of our neighbors called the Military Police because they assumed Christopher may be trying to kill me. I was amazed at that one, I don't know which neighbor it was to this day. Anyway Hawaii is really pretty and has good pineapple. They also have a really cool swapmeet on sundays at Aloha stadium, that is also where they play the Pro Bowl. Later today I will post pictures since I am sure people want to see our house.

Happy Holidays, I don't know about that....

So I heard my brother and Nicole are having a boy. That is pretty awesome I will have my first nephew. I am excited, I am going to send them something. Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming, usually I am pretty excited, and this year I am not so much, I wish I could be with my family. My whole family is getting together and eating my Grandpa's famous Chex Mix, my mom will be making turkey, and all the goodies. I miss everyone, and when I say everyone I mean it. I miss my Mom, we don't always agree on stuff, and I sure did get some of her stubborness, but she is my Mom and I wouldn't trade her for anyone, I know I have let her down and made her mad, pissed, and dissapointed, I wish I could take everything I ever did to her back, I really do. I miss my dad, I miss my Dad and all the random stuff we would do and think it was funny, like knocking on eachothers bathroom walls, all the ways to say luv ya, slug bugs, slug bug vans, and there has even been slug bug station waggons. I think its pretty obvious I have my Dad's weird, goofy sense of humar. I miss my Grandpa, he is probably the coolest old man I know. My sister is pretty cool even though we didn't get along too well growing up, I feel close to her now, and I am praying things work out for her because she has come a long way and takes care of my neices. My brother, who I used to follow around everywhere is about to be a father, and I won't be there sucks, I can't wait for the day I get to hold my nephew for the first time. On a happier note I am having thanksgiving at my house, so we are having a few people over and me and my friend Danielle are going to attempt to cook a turkey, that should be fun, and we are having everyone bring a dish, Danielle is also making greens and she makes some good ones let me tell you. I have started doing some Christmas shopping and some people are easy, others are hard. I know what I am going to get most people. It would be nice if I could give it to them in person, but now I know what my sister had to go through, it's not easy. I will call my Mom's house on thanksgiving though to talk to everyone and that will be nice. At least I will get to hear everyone's voice. Today it has been raining off and on all day, I like it, I think it's peaceful for some reason. Well I hope everyone has a good weekend. : )

Halloween FUN

Yeah my puppy is a Bumble Bee. He didn't like it too much. I thought he looked really cute. Halloween was fun, we got a few Trick or Treaters, and a few people came over for a potluck, we played some games and watched some scary movies. Nothing too big, but it was fun.

Who let the Dogs out?

Sounds like we had two new baseball dogs enter the family. My sister's dog Gibby is really cute. I recently got a baseball pup at my house too. His name is Jeter. He is half chihuahua and half fox terrier. He is little, he is only about to be 8 weeks I believe. He is a pain to potty train.
We are pretty much all moved into our house, finally.
All of our household goods arrived and I had fun finding stuff my mom and Grandpa and my sister had given me. All of it arrived safely.
I am planning on using my crock pot for the first time tomorrow for dinner. I am working at the School on base, which is pretty fun. I tried to work at the Seagull Academy but it was at least a 30 minute drive and even worse when you hit good old Hawaii traffic. I got offered a job at the Solomon Elementary School on base which is right down the Street from my house, I love it. I work mostly with the Special Needs kids and they are so fun and sweet. Plus I make more money then I would at the Seagull Academy by like 3 dollars an hour, it makes quite a difference when milk it near 9 dollars a gallon if you don't buy it on base, and on base they run out fast.
Our house is two bedroom and we are on the second floor, this is where house breaking Jeter becomes a pain. We have training mats down for him on the tile by the kitchen so if he must go in the house, he doesn't do it on the carpet, well he tinkles on the pad just fine, but doing the other deed, he likes to do it right next to the mat. His name was a tough one to come up with, but I thought back to this time when My mom, Nicole, and myself were at a build a bear workshop in downtown Disney, and I had built this dog that had Yankee atire on, and I named it Delilah and my mom told me I should have gave it a cute name like Jeter, so that's where the idea for my puppy came in. I will have pictures of the house up soon. I just need to finish unpacking everything. I have a Birthday card for Catherine going out, so be expecting that soon. It's good to hear everyone had fun at the Fair. I hope my sister's job is going good at the pet store, maybe she can hook me up with some cheap puppy supplies. I hope my Mom isn't getting stressed at work and hope she hasn't had to go to Mollie's so much. I haven't heard much on my brother and Nicole but I hope her pregnancy is treating her well. That's all the excitement here. I hope everyone has a nice work week. : )

Run Forrest Run

So last night I finally ate at the bubba gumps here. It wasn't that great, they didn't even ask trivia or anything. It was fun though, its in this 3 story mall. A few days ago I sent packages to Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Jenny, Catherine, and Carolynn. So please let me know when they all arrive. Also in a few minutes I am thinking about joining the army myself so I am going to talk to a recruiter, this way I don't have to be by myself with Christopher deploys in January and by the time I finish basic and AIT It will be about time for him to come home. Since we are married they do have to keep us at the same duty sation, we can't get deployed at the same time, and we get about 4 grand a month just for housing, not to mention they will pay for me to go to school. I talked to a Srg yesterday and he said that since I have some college units I can most likely enlist as an E3. So me and Christopher will be pretty well off, not to mention if we retired through the army. I am not saying I am going to do it, just something to think about. It would be good for me psysically and financially. I am just scared about going to basic and what if I get deployed. Its a big huge scary thing to think about...

Excitement Much?

So there is much excitement going on in my family. My brother called me last night with very exciting news, He is going to be a Daddy. He sounded so happy so I told him I was happy for him. I was also excited cause I was the first one he told, me and my brother were always pretty close, and lately we kinda were drifting because we are growing up and have our own lives, but I was so excited, and we he called me I had just left a car dealership in mine and Christopher's new car, its used of course but new to us. It is a 2002 VW Passat. I like it and we did it through a miles program that the military has to offer. We went to a lot of dealerships first before deciding, and we didn't see anything within our budget and some of the guys were trying to rip us off. We got a good deal on this one though and we only pay 75 dollars a month for insurance, we got GEICO and they live to work with Active Duty military because they are government insurance, its cheaper in Hawaii then California because I can only drive so far, once we move off the Island, our policy will have to change. I am really excited, we can actually get around and I can go to my interview at the Seagull academy. I also payed off a lot of my bills and cut up my Target card, we don't have target here so why pay on something I can't use and get myself into more debt. So I am working on getting that and my Capital one free and clear. I have spending problems, but I am slowly but surely realizing I can't do that anymore cause my parents aren't going to fix it anymore. Well on happier notes, I talked to my dad and he said that him and my mom are excited about the new little baseball fan to come, which is so awesome, and I am also hoping for a boy, my mom wants a grandson and I don't plan on having one for a long time so we can only hope for a boy, a girl would be good too though, just as long as it is happy and healthy. My dad also informed me that my mom got her coconut postcard I sent her, and when I say coconut, I mean it, it was a postcard painted on a coconut. I was worried that it wouldn't get there in once peice, but it did. I thought it was funny. I am sending them a little box out soon that has stuff for my mom, my dad, and my grandpa, I have a turtle necklace for Carolynn, I just have to find something for Catherine and Jenny. I got offered a house about 10 miles from base, it was really nice, but far from everything, so we decided to wait and get a house actually on the base, so we got offered one pretty close to where Lanette lives and it should be ready on the 29th. Its a 2 bedroom and its on the second floor, so its pretty much the same as my friend's house. I am pretty excited, now that I am getting bills paid and whatnot things are starting to look up. When Christopher gets home we have to go get our car registered with the base and get the base stickers for the winsheild, thats pretty much all the excitement for now, good news from everywhere, my dad said Jenny might have the job at the prison, so I am hoping on that for her. :)

Weekend Warriors and Our best friends...

So my weekend was pretty fun. Friday Christopher got off early and Lanette's husband Phillip was off, so when Christopher got home we all went to the NEX in Pearl City, It was huge. It made the PX look so small. Well we walked around there for a while and I got another season of FRIENDS on dvd, so now I have seasons 5, 6, 7, and 9. I still have a lot to get. Season 7 has my favorite episodes in it. "The one where Rosita dies" is pretty funny, it's the one where Rachel brakes Joey's chair and Monica gets the Porche. Also a funny one is when Rachel teaches Ben a bunch of practical jokes. I love the show, I wish they would make a movie like they did with Sex and the City, but then again why ruien a good thing. Lanette watches sex and the City, she has all the seasons, I tried watching it, but can't find myself getting into it. Well after the NEX we came home and hung out and some friends came over and we played more Rock Band. Then Saturday I cleaned and did some laundry and in the evening me and Lanette went with our friend Amy to Chili's for lunch, then met all our husbands at the movies to see Batman. It was really good, I liked it a lot. It made me sad though cause Heath Ledger was so good in it, I had a crush on him when I saw him in the movie 10 things I hate about you. Well then we came home and hung out and watched friends. Sunday we got up early and went to the swap meet that they have every sunday at the Aloha Stadium (its where they have the Pro Bowl) it was fun I walked around and ate fresh cut pineapple, it was so good. I never had such a juicy pineapple before. I bought a Lei for a dollar and a flower necalace and a keychain for 3 bucks. I had fun. Then we had another FRIENDS night and hung out. Yesterday Lanette's mom made us her special french fries and they were really good. Tomorrow I am going to go apply at the Elementary school on base cause they are hiring for teacher's aids. Thats all the excitement my way. I'll try and keep up better on this.

I miss my Mom!

Today my friend let her use her car to run some errands.
Me and Christopher went back over to housing because our friends say you gotta bug and bug just like you would do for a job you wanted. Well he said he's trying his best and we are first priority because we are new and pretty much homeless. So he said hopefully within 2 weeks. Well earlier today when we did that Christopher was driving the El Comino, I won't drive it because its a damn boat and I am too scared to back it up. Its not my ESCAP that's for sure. Well I wasn't feeling well, so we came back to the house and I laid down and watched Friends, I was feeling better, but then it hit Christopher really hard. Well thats when I was talking to Lanette on the phone and she said I could use her ultima, a lot easier for me to drive, to go to the commisary cause I wanted to get some food and sodas for the house as well as some medicine. Well I went to the commisary and not to sound lame, but I was so excited cause it was the first time going to the commisary to go grocery shopping by myself. As I was doing it, I missed doing it with my mom, going to the Staters then going to eat fajitas. It made me a little homesick, but at the same time I was excited. I got some milk, TP, Ramen, Cereal, soda, chips, and some other stuff all for like 50 bucks. I thought it was going to be like way more. Then I went to the PX and got some medicine and a blanket cause it got really cold last night, I seriously have seen the sun out and shining maybe twice since I have been here. I am tired of this huricanes, they bug. Oh well though, when I was in the desert I prayed for rain, now I got it didn't I. Thats all that really happened today.

GIVE ME A HOUSE DAMNIT!

So Hawaii is pretty amazing.
It is still overwhelming. We were living out of a hotel, and it was costing us so much money, so we knew some friends that got stationed here at Schofield, and they have been so kind as to let us stay with them and even let us use on of their cars to get to places around post. We are on the waiting list for housing and hoping to get housing near them because they are really awesome people, there is Phil and his wife Leanette, and they have a 3 year old son Jacob. I have not met Leanette yet, she is in Texas until monday but I have talked to her over the phone and Phil told me here myspace and I can't wait to meet her, I can tell we are gonna get along pretty well. Then there is our friend Chase, he stays with them too because he is going through a divorce, he's a really nice guy who's wife completely screwed him over. Its been pretty fun staying with them, we play a lot of Rock Band. The guys also play a lot of shooting games on Phil's Xbox. We all get along good, we eat a lot of Papa John's pizza cause we are all living the army soldiers and army wives lifestyle, wich means CHEAP!! I went to the PX today and got some soda for their house and some snacks, Leanette and I seem to be FRIENDS fans so I got another season of it on DVD for us to watch when she comes home, so now I have seasons 5 and 9 so if you want to help add to my colection when I get my house it will be greatly appreciated since I am not gonna have cable for a little bit. Anyways thats all the excitement really going on with me. I am liking Hawaii now that I know people. Oh yeah and Phil's car that Christopher has been driving is an El Camino, and it is bright orange, and seeing him drive this thing makes me laugh so hard. Just picture it, see... its funny isn't it. I do however miss everyone in California, my dad told me one of my dogs has been limping really bad so I am kinda worried about him.

Life in Hawaii

Living in Hawaii is pretty crazy.
Its like amazingly pretty.
I arrived here on Thursday and got to watch the Sunset on the water from the airplane. It was pretty amazing. So far its been a lot of walking and cabs. Cabs are killing us. It cost over 100 bucks to get from the airport to our hotel. It sucks. Its making me poor. At first we were staying at the Mohaka Resort, then the army found us something cheaper and more into the city and moved us to the Hokele Suites, its pretty nice, like 3 feet from the beach and it has a kitchen with a stove in our room. The beach is really nice and blue. The flowers here are pretty too. I love putting them in my hair. Here they serve Rice with everything, in California I was used to Johnny D's asking me if I wanted hashbrowns or homefries, well here they ask if you want hashbrowns or rice, its crazy. And oh my gosh, they litterally sell Krispy Kremes outside of peoples trucks for 10 bucks a box cause there are none here, I thought that was so funny. The cab driver was amazed that where we are from you can get them in your local grociery stores. Well thats all for now, I do need to find a Verizonwireless store though so I can get my phone replaced, cause my front screen went out, I can still get calls, it just can't tell me who is calling.
I think tomorrow we are going to take the free trolly around Waikki. So I will try and get some more pictures up tomorrow, its hard to get internet where I am at. ALHOHA....

It's about damn time!

Christopher is coming home TOMORROW.

How excited am I? Words could not describe. I have been waiting for this to come for a while now, and it finally happening. I have to pick him up from the airport at 5:58pm. I am pretty stoked. Now I am just getting all my crap together and whatnot. I leave for Hawaii on the 17th. Pretty crazy. I can't wait to see him tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I helped my sister move into her new house, it was really hot outside but we unloaded everything off the truck. My friend Zigi came to help. My brother wants to throw me a going away party at his house, so I will have to call him later and see whats up with that.

For now a lot of laundry and packing.... FUN TIMES!

Send him home already!!!

So the United States army really needs to send Christopher home so we can get the ball rolling on this whole moving thing. It would be greatly appreciated. I haven't seen him since April 3rd and miss the crap out of him. This whole thing is very stressful and not having him here sucks. I would rather fight with him in person instead of over the stupid phone. I can honestly say I am tired of the phone, but how else can I talk to him. He was supposed to be home June 11th, then they said June 19th, now they say July 2nd but I am not getting my hopes up. Just send him home, or else in the words of Catherine "DO YOU SEE THIS FIST, IT WILL COME DOWN ON YOU" Stupid Uncle Sam!! I want to go to Hawaii and get more into my possible job opportunity! SHEESH!

Karma is a b****!

So last night I went to a show at this club Karma in Victorville, CA.
I only went because my friends really wanted me to go and my friends brother was working the door as security so he could let us in for free. Well I figured what the heck, it would get me out of the house for a little bit. Well I have heard of one of the bands that were playing called Alesana, and I only knew of them because of my cousin Alyssa listens to them, they aren't too bad just a little too loud and screaming for my musical pleasure. Well some local band played first, I don't remember their name, but the bass player was really nice and I took a picture with him. Then Alesana played second, and I was having fun until people started pushing and shoving, Then they started a mosh pit, so I went back to the tables in the back to sit down. I did get a few pictures and videos with my new camera though. I felt like the old married lady there, I just sat down at watched from a far and drank my pepsi. I felt like my mom did when she took me to New Found Glory Lol. I did have fun though and Alesana were good, I just didn't want to get trampled on to see them, NO THANK YOU. Then after they played a band called A day to Remember played. They were too loud and all they did was scream, you couldn't even understand what they were saying, they gave me a headache. Finally they were done and my friends wanted to meet up at the new Sonic, but it was closed. I was bummed, I have never been to Sonic before and it looks cool. I did upload a video I took of Alesana, it starts out good, but then you can see I was being shoved cause the picture moves. Thats all for now!

Allow me to inrroduce myself.

My name is Sarah Frances Parks,
I was born and raised in Apple Valley California. I recently turned 20 years old and have my whole life ahead of me. I am the youngest of three children. I have a sister Jenny and a brother Joe. They are pretty cool I suppose. I married my best friend Christopher Parks back in January. Our relationship has had some rocks and bumps in the road, but we learn from them and move on. I met him in High school back in 2005. He was my first real boyfriend and the first guy I ever said "I love you" to. Well we had some differences and after 6 months we broke up. Our breakup much like any high school relationship, was filled with drama. We ended up not talking to each other for about a year. We started talking again in March 2007 and finally got back together in September 2007, and married on January 7th, 2008. He is a US soldier and is currently in Augusta, Georgia waiting to come home. Then next month we will be moving to Hawaii. Pretty exciting but it is really stressful. Christopher was supposed to be home on the 11th of June and he still is not home. It has been really hard not having him around, but we are tough and we will get through it. My best friend is Alyssa Zibell, she is also my cousin. She is the best friend and cousin I could ask for, even though she is only 15, she is always there for me. We have so much fun when we are together and laugh at the stupidest things. I have called her crying in the past six months I don't know how many times because I miss Christopher, and she's always there to make me feel better. If there is one person I could hide in my luggage and take to Hawaii with me, it would be her. My parents are pretty cool too. They have always been there to support me and help me out in whatever way they can. My grandpa lives with my parents too, he's a pretty chill old dude. His dogs are a pain in the ass though, one I like to call "The blob" and the other is a yapper from Mexico. I have three dogs of my own, so this house has a butt load of dogs, no cats though cause I am allergic. So I will try and update my blog with any exciting news that comes my way. : )
