I miss my Mom!

Today my friend let her use her car to run some errands.
Me and Christopher went back over to housing because our friends say you gotta bug and bug just like you would do for a job you wanted. Well he said he's trying his best and we are first priority because we are new and pretty much homeless. So he said hopefully within 2 weeks. Well earlier today when we did that Christopher was driving the El Comino, I won't drive it because its a damn boat and I am too scared to back it up. Its not my ESCAP that's for sure. Well I wasn't feeling well, so we came back to the house and I laid down and watched Friends, I was feeling better, but then it hit Christopher really hard. Well thats when I was talking to Lanette on the phone and she said I could use her ultima, a lot easier for me to drive, to go to the commisary cause I wanted to get some food and sodas for the house as well as some medicine. Well I went to the commisary and not to sound lame, but I was so excited cause it was the first time going to the commisary to go grocery shopping by myself. As I was doing it, I missed doing it with my mom, going to the Staters then going to eat fajitas. It made me a little homesick, but at the same time I was excited. I got some milk, TP, Ramen, Cereal, soda, chips, and some other stuff all for like 50 bucks. I thought it was going to be like way more. Then I went to the PX and got some medicine and a blanket cause it got really cold last night, I seriously have seen the sun out and shining maybe twice since I have been here. I am tired of this huricanes, they bug. Oh well though, when I was in the desert I prayed for rain, now I got it didn't I. Thats all that really happened today.

GIVE ME A HOUSE DAMNIT!

So Hawaii is pretty amazing.
It is still overwhelming. We were living out of a hotel, and it was costing us so much money, so we knew some friends that got stationed here at Schofield, and they have been so kind as to let us stay with them and even let us use on of their cars to get to places around post. We are on the waiting list for housing and hoping to get housing near them because they are really awesome people, there is Phil and his wife Leanette, and they have a 3 year old son Jacob. I have not met Leanette yet, she is in Texas until monday but I have talked to her over the phone and Phil told me here myspace and I can't wait to meet her, I can tell we are gonna get along pretty well. Then there is our friend Chase, he stays with them too because he is going through a divorce, he's a really nice guy who's wife completely screwed him over. Its been pretty fun staying with them, we play a lot of Rock Band. The guys also play a lot of shooting games on Phil's Xbox. We all get along good, we eat a lot of Papa John's pizza cause we are all living the army soldiers and army wives lifestyle, wich means CHEAP!! I went to the PX today and got some soda for their house and some snacks, Leanette and I seem to be FRIENDS fans so I got another season of it on DVD for us to watch when she comes home, so now I have seasons 5 and 9 so if you want to help add to my colection when I get my house it will be greatly appreciated since I am not gonna have cable for a little bit. Anyways thats all the excitement really going on with me. I am liking Hawaii now that I know people. Oh yeah and Phil's car that Christopher has been driving is an El Camino, and it is bright orange, and seeing him drive this thing makes me laugh so hard. Just picture it, see... its funny isn't it. I do however miss everyone in California, my dad told me one of my dogs has been limping really bad so I am kinda worried about him.

Life in Hawaii

Living in Hawaii is pretty crazy.
Its like amazingly pretty.
I arrived here on Thursday and got to watch the Sunset on the water from the airplane. It was pretty amazing. So far its been a lot of walking and cabs. Cabs are killing us. It cost over 100 bucks to get from the airport to our hotel. It sucks. Its making me poor. At first we were staying at the Mohaka Resort, then the army found us something cheaper and more into the city and moved us to the Hokele Suites, its pretty nice, like 3 feet from the beach and it has a kitchen with a stove in our room. The beach is really nice and blue. The flowers here are pretty too. I love putting them in my hair. Here they serve Rice with everything, in California I was used to Johnny D's asking me if I wanted hashbrowns or homefries, well here they ask if you want hashbrowns or rice, its crazy. And oh my gosh, they litterally sell Krispy Kremes outside of peoples trucks for 10 bucks a box cause there are none here, I thought that was so funny. The cab driver was amazed that where we are from you can get them in your local grociery stores. Well thats all for now, I do need to find a Verizonwireless store though so I can get my phone replaced, cause my front screen went out, I can still get calls, it just can't tell me who is calling.
I think tomorrow we are going to take the free trolly around Waikki. So I will try and get some more pictures up tomorrow, its hard to get internet where I am at. ALHOHA....

It's about damn time!

Christopher is coming home TOMORROW.

How excited am I? Words could not describe. I have been waiting for this to come for a while now, and it finally happening. I have to pick him up from the airport at 5:58pm. I am pretty stoked. Now I am just getting all my crap together and whatnot. I leave for Hawaii on the 17th. Pretty crazy. I can't wait to see him tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I helped my sister move into her new house, it was really hot outside but we unloaded everything off the truck. My friend Zigi came to help. My brother wants to throw me a going away party at his house, so I will have to call him later and see whats up with that.

For now a lot of laundry and packing.... FUN TIMES!
